Romuald Burkard Foundation

Sika maintains the Romuald Burkard Foundation through which the country organizations in developing countries support social and ecological projects, for example

- Buildings and infrastructure projects to fulfill social and ecological needs such as water reservoirs, effluent treatments,

-Technological education of construction personnel,

-Ecological water projects correlating indirectly with Sika’s field of waterproofing activities.

The expressed objective is to promote self-help locally. For this reason local Sika companies have to apply for support and see the project through together with their local partners.
