Pioneer in the industry: Descol sports surfaces receives CSR certificate
On 3 October 2011 Descol sports surfaces as the first sports flooring company was officially awarded with the CSR (corporate social responsibility) certificate for its sustainable corporate management. Dutch former professional tennis player Richard Krajicek hands the certificate over to Remo van der Wilt, General Manager at Descol. At the same time a partnership agreement was signed between Descol and the Richard Krajicek Foundation (RKF).
Both the RKF and Descol feel it is important to invest in young sports talent. Descol truly supports the mission of the RKF: "The promotion of sports activities in a socially safe situation for young people in those districts where the possibilities are limited." Through sponsorship, but also through close collaboration with our partner RKF and to take our social responsibilities.
As the first sports flooring company Descol received the CSR certificate Performance Ladder level 3, inspired by ISO 26000. Another proof that Descol sports surfaces is a true winner!
